We especially loved relaxing by the cozy fireplace after indulging in delicious local fare. the fish and chips here are heavenly! And can we talk about how dog-friendly the entire place is? Our pup felt right at home! 🐾❤️

We had a lovely stay with amazing views of the North Yorkshire Moors from our cozy room. The atmosphere in the pub was delightful, perfect for enjoying a pint after a day of exploring nearby fishing villages. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming.

My kids wished there were more activities for them during dinner.

The place has a lovely atmosphere, really warm and welcoming staff. I mean, I didn’t even own a dog, yet they made me feel right at home with well-behaved furry companions around.

It wasn’t exactly budget-friendly, but for what you get, it’s still acceptable.

We loved the cozy atmosphere and the stunning views over the moors. The pod was well-equipped, with comfy beds and a lovely kitchenette. Close to amazing walking routes and just a short drive to the scenic spots of Whitby and Scarborough.

Delighted by the warmth of the staff and the local brews. Enjoyed the steak pie paired with fresh, flavorful chips – absolutely divine! Tip, Ask for extra sauce with your meals, as it could elevate the experience. Perfect base for exploring the stunning moors!

The welcoming atmosphere and stunning views made the stay enjoyable. breakfast service was rushed, and the staff seemed inexperienced at times. The room, while comfortable, had some issues with noise and cleanliness, which detracted from the experience. it was a pleasant getaway despite some hiccups.

Just a top selection for a brief visit in Danby with reasonable price. The bar had a lovely coal open fire which made it cozy and welcoming. Consider enjoying the good ales and gin selection provided.

loved our stay at the fox n hounds inn! the views from our room were amaze and the staff were super friendly. Had a really good meal. the fish and chips were defo a highlight! it’s a cozy pub and felt really welcoming. enjoyed chillin out in the bar with locals after a long day exploring.

the shower was a little small and the bed could've been comfier for my liking. also, it was kinda hard to find a table sometimes since we had a dog with us.

Staying for four nights exceeded expectations. the room was clean with comfortable, fresh bedding and lovely moor views. The breakfast provided a variety of tasty options, with Yorkshire tea and high-quality jam enhancing the experience. Minor issues included limited space in the bathroom and inconsistency in food portion sizes during dinner, particularly with a lack of spiciness in the curry dishes. noise from pub traffic outside could disrupt early nights, though the overall atmosphere was warm and inviting.

Beautiful views and good breakfast. Small bathroom made it a bit cramped for me.
